1.	All equipment & instruments, including metal cups and drills, are changed after every patient. To do this, we keep a large inventory of instruments..
2.	All metal instruments e.g. cups, trays, drills and even drill bits, are
	a. Cleaned in an ultrasonic machine to remove visible debris, and then
	b. sterilized in a medical autoclave, under pressurised steam at a temperature of 134 ° C
3.	Items like injection needles, gloves and saliva suction tips etc, are thrown away after a single use. These discarded items are taken away by a licensed contractor and incinerated separately as medical waste.
4.	Surfaces like table tops, the dental chair and attached equipment are wiped with disinfectant.
5.	Our infection control procedures have been audited by the Ministry of Health.
